PLAINVILLE – The Plainville Historical Society invites people to become a “history detective” April 16 when it hosts its second annual Mystery Night at the Museum.
The program will begin at 7 p.m. at the Historic Center at 29 Pierce Street. Refreshments will be served.
Participants will be able to view, study, and try to identify or answer questions about items and photographs from days gone by – from household items and artifacts to school photos and more. The program is another in this year’s series planned to spark interest in local history especially as Plainville celebrates its 150th year as a town.
The Historical Society extends an invitation to all including those who may be new to Plainville and would like to learn more about the town. Also, while many of the items may be specific to Plainville, there are others that could have also been found in other towns. Information on each will be “revealed” at the end of the evening.
