‘Bingo rave’ is coming to Bristol

A bingo night with a “nightclub-rave style atmosphere” will be held in Fishponds.

“Bingo rave” event Bada Bingo will take place on Friday (October 8) at the Buzz Bingo hall on Fishponds Road.

Bada Bingo has promised a “wild” night complete with “confetti cannons, live performers, legendary bingo games and all night dancing”.

Its spokeswoman said the event will combine a “classic game of bingo with a nightclub-rave style atmosphere”. Punters will get the chance to win “crazy” prizes including £500 in cash, an inflatable dinosaur costume and a “lordship title”.

The minimum age for entry is 18. The event starts at 8.45pm and ends at 11.45pm, with last entry at 9.45pm. Early bird tickets cost £6 and general entry £11.25.

The spokeswoman added the Fishponds venue will get a “bold and colourful makeover” to ensure it is ready for Bada Bingo.

Bada Bingo head of events and entertainment Andy Bright said: “Everyone loves a game of bingo but not everyone has seen bingo quite like this.

“With wacky prizes, live performers, sing your heart out songs and loads of strobe lights, we’re promising to bring a whole new chaos to the bingo-rave world. Prepare yourself for a night of madness and we can’t wait to host ravers ready to get their dabbers out across the UK.”

Bristol is one of 15 areas across the UK where the “bingo rave” events will take place before January 15. Tickets are available to purchase on the Bada Bingo website.
