Bristol Airport has been labelled a ‘shambles’ in recent weeks with multiple flights cancelled and passengers left stranded often in other countries with nowhere to stay. It seems the bank holiday weekend is not set to improve things as even more people are expected to travel.
Yesterday people criticised the airport on for an extended wait at baggage reclaim with reports of elderly people and children left waiting for almost two hours this morning.
One person on Twitter also reported issues with the ground crew as well as delays with baggage collection.

A spokesperson for Bristol Airport said: “We apologise to customers impacted by above average baggage delays experienced on overnight. We work closely with all business partners and airline handling agents to ensure staffing levels are sufficient to provide a good service to passengers.
