Bristol Airport Easyjet flight from Hurghada in Egypt is diverted to Gatwick – latest updates

A flight from Hurghada in Egypt to Bristol has been diverted to Gatwick Airport “due to a passenger welfare issue”.

Easyjet flight EZY6294 was due arrive at Bristol Aiport at 11.08pm on Thusday. However, the plane was diverted to Gatwick, where it landed at 10.54pm.

A short statement on EasyJet’s website reads: “We’re very sorry that your flight has now been diverted. This is due to a passenger welfare issue.

“The disruption to your flight is outside of our control and is considered to be an extraordinary circumstance. We plan to refuel and continue your flight as soon as possible. Your crew will keep you up to date.”
