SOUTHINGTON – A Bristol the human race accused of assaulting a special takes child must soon decide regardless if it’s he wants to take a plea contend.

Scott Squires, 42, was granted a duration during a hearing Thursday in Bristol Superior Court for his personal injury attorney to go over the plea bargain through him. Prosecutors indicated the next sec date would be marked down as an “accept or reject” hearing – meaning Squires must take the deal on the other hand formally turn it down.

Turning down the plea bargain might probably leave Squires with the option of in the hunt for a new deal from a judge or even heading to trial.

Squires, who is free on $15, 500 bond, was first arrested on Oct. 26, 2017, in connection with two police warrants.
