Bristol riot: Warrant for Horfield man, 37, who failed to appear in court

A warrant has been issued for a Horfield man who failed to appear in court today (September 14).

Christopher Hind, 37, was due in court in relation to Bristol’s riot, which happened in March.

Three more people made their first appearance at court charged with riot.

Rose Lazarus, 20, Leah Brenchley, 20, from Fishponds, and Miles Walters, 26, from Beckenham appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on charges related to the riots which unfolded after Bristol’s first Kill the Bill protest.

The trio were all given unconditional bail and will next appear at Bristol Crown Court on 13 October.

A fourth person, Debra Wright, 42, of no fixed address, appeared via video link after being charged with assaulting an emergency worker during the incident.

She has been remanded in custody to appear before Bristol Crown Court on 1 October.

In total, 35 people have now been charged in connection with the police inquiry.
