Heavy rain is predicted to fall across Bristol today, according to the Met Office’s forecast.
The national weather service is predicting blustery winds and outbreaks of rain throughout today (Saturday, October 2).
Rain is forecast to begin at 7am and continue to lash the city for 12 hours, and temperatures are expected to reach a maximum of 13C.
Windy gusts of up to 25 miles per hour could add to the miserable weather in the city.
Somewhat drier and less windy weather is likely to arrive later in the day.
But today’s rain could create tricky conditions for motorists, particularly those taking long journeys on motorways.
