Burst water main in South Bristol leaves residents without water – updates

A water main has burst overnight in South Bristol.

Bristol Water has warned that residents in an area of Hengrove may have no water at all, or have low water pressure overnight and this morning (Thursday). Crews from the company started to work on repairs at 10pm last night.

Bristol Water said last night: “There is a burst main on Thurlestone in Hengrove.

“Our crew are on site, and due to the size of the burst need to urgently begin repairs from 10pm this evening. We apologise for the noise caused as they carry out this essential work.

“Customers affected may have low water pressure or no water currently.”
