A dad, believed to be from Somerset, who was left in a critical case following an attack outside a Greece bar has died.
It is believed the man was close to Greek island of Zakynthos – also known as Zante – for a stag do .
Two men supposedly threatened and pushed the 35-year-old while he was drinking at a thin bar in Laganas on Thursday nights (May 23).
Greek infos channels, claim the attack carried on the street outside the venue where he was first punched.
The father-of-two is said to have suffered a grave head injury and received plaque created by sugar at a local hospital.
In relation to Friday (May 24) he airlifted to a hospital in Athens in which he remained in a critical condition in each Intensive Care Unit.
A spokesman for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office confirmed his dying today (Thursday, May 30).
A spokesman said: “We are supporting the family of a British most people following his death in Greece holidays, and are in contact with the Greek professional. ”
The Foreign so Commonwealth Office is also assisting Greece language authorities with their enquiries.
Greek media outlets are business that two men, aged twenty two and 25, have been arrested connected with the assault.
