Fatboy Slim and Eats Everything Bristol: Partygoers climb walls of Lakota as event stopped by police – updates

Police have been forced to stop a live music event in Bristol tonight (October 12). It comes after people were seen trying to climb the walls into Lakota’s car park for Fatboy Slim and Eats Everything’s free party.

Pictures and videos from the scene show crowds of partygoers outside the venue waiting to get inside. However, as people lost patience they began to climb the walls to avoid the long queues.

A witness from the event said she had a panic attack as she felt increasingly unsafe. Eva, 26, said it was ‘dangerous’ as ‘young people blocked the bouncers’ near the entrance.

The event, aimed to promote Fatboy Slim and Eats Everything’s new track ‘Bristol to Brighton’ was originally planned to take place under the Avon Bridge at Ashton Meadows. However, the police said it could not go ahead so the free gig was moved to Lakota car park, beginning at 7pm.
