
A woman was left with hearing loss and needing hospital treatment after a firework that was thrown exploded near her head. The incident occurred at around 8.45pm on Friday (October 21).
The victim, who is in her twenties, was standing at a bus stop in Broad Weir when the firework was thrown. It exploded near her head, leaving her needing hospital treatment.
She also suffered hearing loss as a result of the detonation. Police believe two males were involved, but the force does not currently have a description of them.
