This year has certainly been an eventful one, with lots of funny, shocking and altogether unbelievably events happening in our city.

From lighthearted tales like the man who walked down a Bristol street with a musical shed on his head which blasted out flames, to serious issues like Extinction Rebellion’s summer uprising – Bristol Live has brought you a wide range of stories in 2019.

And with a new decade about to get underway, there’s no better time to reflect on the highs and lows of the last 12 months.

From the mum who caused a chemical incident while cleaning her bathroom, to the pensioner who once bungee jumped off Clifton Suspension Bridge, there’s certainly been some very unusual moments.

We have put together some of our favourite stories of the last year but we would love to know what your top story was. To achieve that end we’ve created an interactive poll which allows you to vote.
