Production for a new short film will take place in Bristol tomorrow (Saturday, June 22), and the opportunity is open for Bristol residents to appear as an extra.
Production company Calling the Shots will be recreating a fashion show tomorrow at a city centre pub for the filming of a new project, entitled A Fashion Show, created by Bristolian filmmaker Okori Lewis Mccalla, and the team behind the film are looking for paid extras to represent the audience.
Filming will take place at Smoke and Mirrors in Denmark Street, close to the Hippodrome, tomorrow from 9am to 5pm – so if you’re looking for your on-screen moment you’ll have to act quickly.
Extras have been asked to wear smart clothes in dark colours, and to bring a number of alternative outfit options inside the same theme to allow for potential changes.

In order to create a realistic audience, Calling The Shots are looking for as many extras as possible to get involved and will be monitoring their emails this afternoon and evening to get in touch with anybody who wants to take part at the last minute.
If you’d like to take part, email the production team at email@example.com.
The film is part of Calling the Shot’s New Creatives project, an initiative giving 16-30 year olds from across the South West the chance to realise ten innovative audio works and seven brand new short films for BBC Platforms.
