Two luxury apartment blocks for renters have been built in Bristol city centre.
The build-to-rent development on the waterside at Finzels Reach is the first of its kind in the city.
The buildings – Hawkins Lane and George’s Wharf – include 194 studio, one-bed and two-bed furnished and unfurnished flats.
Rent includes access to the on-site gym, wifi, a residents’ lounge, a roof terrace with views over the Bristol skyline, bike storage and co-working space.
The apartments, which are owned by rental provider Grainger, are also pet-friendly.
Grainger will manage the buildings and will provide residents with services including a concierge and an on-site management team.
Helen Gordon, Grainger chief executive, said: “Our aim at Grainger is to redefine the rental experience and in Bristol we will do this by creating an exciting new community at Finzels Reach that combines the flexibility of renting with professional services.”
Salima Cherrad, resident services manager at Hawkins & George, said: “It’s very exciting to be part of this new community.
“We think the roof terrace with its fantastic views of the city is going to be hugely popular.”
Prices for the Hawkins & George apartments start at £895 per month.
Gavin Bridge, executive director at Cubex, the developer behind Finzels Reach and Hawkins & George, added: “Hawkins & George provides much-needed homes through the innovative build-to-rent model.
“Residents essentially rent the building rather than an apartment, benefiting from an emphasis on high-quality communal spaces and customer service.”
