Live coronavirus updates: Weston General Hospital, track and trace launched

As three more deaths have been recorded at Bristol and North Somerset hospitals there is now increasing pressure being put on Weston General Hospital bosses to answer questions about when the hospital will reopen to new patients.

It comes after the hospital announced on Monday (May 25) at 8am that they will no longer be accepting any new patients due to high number of patients with coronavirus.

Even though a mobile testing centre has been set up in Weston, pictures show that the centre lay empty for a second day in a row.

Meanwhile across the UK, Boris Johnson’s plans to ease the lockdown will be revealed today in an official review that we expect will give the all-clear for schools to begin reopening next week.

However, this has faced criticism from teaching unions, parents and teachers in the past so it is expected the Government will be questioned further on this.

We will bring you all the latest coronavirus updates from across Bristol and the UK through this live blog.
