
The M32 in Bristol has been closed northbound due to a road traffic collision late on Saturday night. The incident was first announced at 12.40am.
The closure affects a stretch of the M32 heading northbound between junction 2 for Horfield and junction 1 for Filton. There was no information immediately available on the circumstances surrounding the collision, including whether anyone has been injured as a result.
Posting to Twitter, National Highways: South-West said: “The #M32 northbound between J2 (#Horfield) and J1 (#Filton) is CLOSED due to a collision. More details to follow.”
Traffic information service Inrix added: “M32 Northbound closed, queueing traffic due to accident from J2 B4058 Stapleton Road (Eastville) to J1 A4174 (Hambrook). Shut heading out of Bristol.”
National Highways currently expects the incident to clear by 2.15am.
