All traffic is being held stationary on the M4 near Bristol due to a vehicle fire this morning.
A stretch of the road along the M4 westbound and eastbound routes is currently at a standstill between junction 18 for Bath and junction 19 for the M32.
On Twitter, the South West division of National Highways said: “The #M4 westbound between J18 (#Bath) and J19 (#M32), traffic has been temporarily STOPPED due to a vehicle fire. We will keep you updated.”

Highway cameras along the route show traffic building in the area – drivers should expect delays if travelling along this route this morning.
