There is queuing traffic on the M5 near Bristol after a ‘police incident’. All traffic was previously held on Friday morning (September 23) to allow police to attend the scene from junction 18 to junction 17 along the northbound stretch of the motorway.
Traffic reporting system Inrix said: “Queueing traffic due to police incident on M5 Northbound from J18 M49 to J17 A4018 (Cribbs Causeway). All lanes have been re-opened.”
All lanes reopened shortly before 9.45am. This is an ongoing incident – we’ll bring you updates as and when we have them.
