A man has denied causing £450 worth of criminal damage to paving in Bristol city centre.
Angus Lancaster is accused of damaging paving in Broadmead “by use of a chalk-based aerosol”.
The 43-year-old, of Cowslip Crescent in Emersons Green, allegedly committed the offence on November 4 last year.
The victim is listed as Bristol City Council in court documents. Lancaster allegedly had “no lawful excuse” to cause damage to the paving.

There was a hearing for the case at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (June 3).
Lancaster has pleaded not guilty to causing criminal damage.
He is due to appear for a trial at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on August 3.
