
A man has appeared in court after a stabbing in Brislington over the weekend. Scott Edgar faced magistrates today, Tuesday July 26, and was charged with two offences.
The 32-year-old, of Collin Road, Brislington, was charged with wounding with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in public. The charges follow an incident in Sandy Park Road in the early hours of the morning of Sunday, July 24.
The incident left a man in his 20s, who has not been named, needing hospital treatment for a stab wound. Edgar was arrested overnight on Sunday July 24 into Monday, July 25.
He appeared before Bristol Magistrates Court today – Tuesday – and was remanded in custody. The case against him was transferred to the Bristol Crown Court, and the next hearing was scheduled for August 24.
