A fire is raging at the site of the derelict Grosvenor Hotel in Bristol this evening. Thick white plumes of smoke have been seen rising high into the sky with locals sharing images on social media.
The former hotel building in front of Temple Meads station was earlier in the year considered for multi-million pound deal transformation amidst a council buy-out. The buildings has been empty and decaying for at least 20 years, and has been the subject of years of debate and discussion over what should happen to it.
Locals have shared pictures of smoke which can be seen miles away, one dramatic picture shows a fire still raging.
