A hit-and-run victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries – and now police are appealing for witnesses.
A car struck a pedestrian at about 6.30pm on Monday (June 3) as the man was walking from Charlton Park towards Charlton Road in Keynsham.
The car believed to have been involved was later found burned out in a field near Kelston.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital, where he remained yesterday (Tuesday, June 4) in a serious but stable condition.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident.
