
Police forensics officers have descended on a park in east Bristol this morning after a night of police activity in the area.
Local residents said police raided a number of homes in Hillfields and Speedwell area of the city, and this morning, people living around Barton Fields woke to find the eastern end had been cordoned off by police.
Police tape covers a large area of the park near the corner of Argyle Road and Charlton Road in Cossham, with a police car situated inside the park.

One local resident said a number of homes saw police activity at around 4pm last night.
Bristol Live has contacted Avon and Somerset Police for more information about the nature of what happened in the park and the local area overnight.
