Two people have been released on police bail following the death of a four-month-old baby at Bristol Children’s Hospital.
Gloucestershire Police previously arrested and held the two people yesterday (Wednesday, April 22) in connection with an investigation into the infant’s death.
The baby – from Newent – was initially admitted to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on Easter Sunday (April 12) in a serious condition, Gloucestershire Live reports.
She was then transferred to Bristol Children’s Hospital where she was treated until her death six days later on April 18.

The two people who were arrested have now been bailed with conditions to return to a police station on May 20.
In other police news, a man is in police custody awaiting trial after allegedly stealing three bicycles during a burglary in Filton.
