It seems like Taco Bell might finally be opening a store in Bristol.
The American-based chain of fast-food restaurants serve a variety of Mexican-inspired foods.
Some of the most popular choices on the chain’s menu include the Crunchwrap Supreme, a tortilla stuffed with chicken, beef or beans served in a shell, and the Big Bell box which combines a burrito, taco, nachos and churros all in one box.
It already has branches in Plymouth, Poole and Southampton.
Last year it opened its first branch in Cardiff – an hour’s drive from Bristol.
There are now more than 425 Taco Bell restaurants across 27 countries outside the US.
The company, which also owns KFC and Pizza Hut, aims to expand to a total of 9,000 international restaurants by 2022.
Could Bristol be added to the list?
Well, if a cheeky tweet is anything to go by, things are looking positive.
Twitter user Sweet Caroline posted that she had made a massive effort just to satisfy her Taco Bell craving.
She tagged the official Taco Bell account but couldn’t have imagined the response she actually received.
The official Taco Bell UK account replied simply with: “might be sometime soon…”
Caroline described it as “a dream maybe coming true”.
