The list of Bristol schools hit by coronavirus so far

Thousands of pupils and dozens of staff members are isolating after coronavirus cases in dozens of Bristol schools.

Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in both secondary and primary schools, with some choosing to send entire year groups home. Whereas at other settings, only those in direct contact with affected pupils have been told to isolate.

Yesterday (November 17), eight schools reported cases in one day.

And chiefs at Winterbourne Academy had to evacuated an entire year group due to coronavirus concerns.

The 1,800-pupil mixed secondary on Winterbourne High Street told all Year 11 pupils to leave the site at around 1.30pm.
