Having seen a property price boom in the last decade, Bristol has gone from an affordable city to live, to one out of the reach for many people.
The city has one of the biggest gaps between average income and average house price than anywhere else in the country.
The average salary in Bristol is £27,400, but the average house price is now £304,900 – that’s 11.1 times the average salary.
But there are still affordable properties out there so we looked at the properties on sale in Bristol right now for less than £100,000.
There are currently 26 properties listed under that price in RightMove and it won’t be a surprise to learn that not all the properties are actual homes.
We have decided not to include garages, plots of land for sale or properties that have age restrictions.
