A travel agent is offering short breaks to the world’s biggest Primark store a couple of hours up the M5.
Portugal being moved off the green list of countries deemed safe to travel will have scuppered holiday plans for many.
Nevertheless, a Scottish travel agent has a destination equally as enticing to offer.
Trips to the biggest Primark in the world in Birmingham for £99 per person is being offered by Barrhead Travel in Glasgow, Scotland’s largest independent travel group, reports Glasgow Live.
A bemused Scot, Craig Smith, saw an advertisement for it in one of their city stores and tweeted: “Barrhead Travel offering holidays to Primark”.
The tweet was followed with a worried emoji expression.
The package deal offers keen shoppers a chance to visit the huge Primark store as part of a one-night stay in Birmingham at the Park Inn Hotel, with dinner, bed and breakfast included in the £99 per person price.
The trips are scheduled to take place in November and December, with pickups available from both Glasgow and Paisley.
And just how big is this Primark store? Well at 160,100 sq ft and spread over five floors, it boasts Primark’s largest ever Duck & Dry beauty studio, their first in-store barbers salon from Joe Mills, and three dining experiences, including the Disney Café.
