BRISTOL – At least two people were taken to a hospital Friday afternoon after a two-car crash at the intersection of Willis and South streets.
The accident was reported at about 4:15 p.m., when a Hyundai Santa Fe and a Ford Focus collided. A young girl and a dog were in the Santa Fe, along with an adult. The child and dog appeared OK after the crash. The driver was being evaluated in an ambulance for some time after the collision.
Two people in the Focus reported injuries that were not considered life-threatening. At least one was wheeled into an ambulance and taken to an area hospital.
Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and had to be towed.
