Two people were injured after a greenhouse was struck by lightning for the time of a major storm.
The father crews were called to the Serious Steady Go Day Care Nursery here in Worle shortly after 6pm yesterday romantic evening (June 7).
1 person was hospitalised following the lightning turn out, which also left the roof during the building severely damaged.
A spokesperson for Avon Fire and Relief confirmed two people currently being injured during the incident.
“At 6. 09pm, three having engines, along with a turntable ladder, went to reports of a building being arranged by lightning, ” he replied.
“The strike stimulated severe structural damage to the building.
“One person was come to hospital by ambulance and the other was treated at the scene. type
Streets across Worle and Weston-super-Mare were left diving after torrential downpours brought by yesterday’s storm.
South Western Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
