Two men were due to appear in court today (Monday, August 29) in connection with a stabbing on Stapleton Road.
The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday morning (August 25), injuring a 30-year-old man who was taken to hospital and has since been discharged. Police launched a probe into the attack and now two men have been charged.
Kaleb Lewis, 25 of no fixed address, has been charged with GBH and possession of a bladed article, while Lermar Douglas, 18 of Easton, has been charged with assisting an offender.

Lewis has also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence in relation to a previous incident. Both men have been remanded and were due to appear before Bristol Magistrates Court today (Monday, August 29).
On Thursday (August 25) reports emerged that man had been found on Stapleton Road, after suffering stab wounds. Police were alerted to the incident by the ambulance service around 12:30am (August 25). A search was carried out in the area but no offenders were located at that time.
