UK weather: Bristol hour-by-hour forecast for Easter weekend as 20C heat continues

The Easter ‘heatwave’ is set to continue today (April 17) and tomorrow with highs of 19C expected in Bristol. Yesterday (April 16) was the hottest day of the year so far with Brits flocking to beaches and beauty spots to soak up the sunshine.

The scorching weather is expected to continue on Easter Sunday and into Monday, which is great news for people travelling to visit loved ones. Sunny conditions are forecast until the middle of this week, when it will then become cloudy with light showers possible, according to the Met Office.

19C highs are forecast at 1pm in Bristol today, with dry and mild conditions predicted for the evening. It will get slightly cooler tomorrow, with highs of 14C forecast for Bristol at 2pm.

The Met Office forecast for Easter Sunday reads: “Any morning fog patches will clear to leave a fine day, with plenty of warm hazy sunshine. However it will turn cloudy across parts of Cornwall and Devon, with the risk of some patchy rain drifting east through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 19 C.”

Tomorrow will be “a mainly dry day to come with plenty of sunny spells,” says the Met Office, with “just the risk of a few showers.” It continues: “Feeling fresher compared to recent days but pleasant in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 15 °C.”

The outlook for Tuesday to Thursday reads: “A mix of sunny spells and the chance of a few showers throughout this period. Temperatures around average for Mid-April, but feeling cool by Thursday as an easterly wind develops.”

9pm: 11C expected

10pm – 11pm: Temperatures drop to 10C, and 9C overnight
