Six fire engines are on the scene of a blaze at a Redcliffe tower block.

Matthew McKenzie, visiting family in Francombe House on Commercial Road, says a fire appears to have broken out in the high-rise’s bin room tonight (October 18).

He said six fire engines were on the site at around 9pm.

“This has become a serious problem, with the bin room being set alight on a number of occasions in the last few months,” he added.
