Woman arrested after man stabbed in Patchway

A 36-year-old man has been stabbed by a 45-year-old woman in Patchway this morning at 9.20am.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police has said: “We were called to Blakeney Road in Patchway at about 9.20am today (Friday 3 January) following an incident in which a 36-year-old man suffered a stab injury to his arm.

“He’s been taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life-threatening.

“A 45-year-old woman has been arrested in suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

“We’re treating this as an isolated incident between people who are known to each other.”
