South Gloucestershire Council has announced a temporary closure of Yate Road in Iron Acton, overnight on August 15.
Re-surfacing work is scheduled from the junction of B4058 Wotton Road to the roundabout at Iron Acton Way/Armstrong Way between 8pm and 6am.
A signed diversion takes in the B4058 Bristol Road, Winterbourne Hill, Bristol Road, Whiteshill, Bristol Road, A4174 Ring Road, A432 Badminton Road, B4059 Stover Road, Yate Road and vice versa.

Work is expected to take three weeks but is reliant on weather conditions and the council apologises for inconvenience caused.
This will complete work to improve flood resilience on Yate Road.
It is part of a wider scheme to tackle South Gloucestershire’s highway drainage systems as the road was found to have a damaged drainage system and poor carriageway surfacing.
It is hoped that this work will prevent future flooding, reduce road collisions and prevent the need for road closures to carry out ad hoc maintenance.
