A Cirencester woman has recently celebrated a remarkable landmark, turning 105-years-old.
Enid Miller celebrated her birthday at Priory Mews, on Trafalgar Road on January 22.
The day began with Enid receiving a card from the Queen, followed by a party for residents of Priory Mews and Barclay Court in Barclays Court Lounge.
A special birthday cake was much admired showing knitted and crochet blankets and teddy’s which she regularly produces for charities at the Wednesday knit and natter group at Barclay Court.
Her children Keith, David, and Janet provided the refreshments.
An impromptu singalong of oldie songs was much enjoyed by Enid and other residents enjoying the party.
Keith, David, and Janet would like to thank Karen Pocock, scheme manager of both Priory Mews and Barclay Court who helped to organise to momentous occasion.
