A familiar face on the course featured Stroud running veteran Jeff Waters who has MS but has taken part in every Stroud Half since the race was launched in 1982.
Some of the other runners who ran the half marathon were Dominique Farmer and her friends from Stroud-based charity Wiggly T-shirts.
Founded by Dominique and her partner Dan, the charity funds colourful t-shirts with snap poppers which allow easy access for children who are going through cancer treatment.
They started the charity after their daughter Indi was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia when she was just two years old.
So far the team have raised over £1,200 just from their Stroud half-marathon fundraising.
