AN ALERT was sent out after an attempted roofing lead theft in the Stroud district.
After a recent run of schools having lead removed from roofs, a business based between Kingswood and Wotton under Edge was targeted yesterday during the early hours of the morning.
Two males were seen on the roof attempting to strip lead from the roof but ran off site once seen.
The males were described as being in the middle age range of average build, both wearing surgical face masks, one male wearing a black hoodie and the other wearing a green top.
