There will be markets every day in Cirencester in the month leading up to Christmas.
The Monday and Friday Charter Markets and the Farmers’ Market, held on the second and fourth Saturday of the month, will be continuing – and there will be a festive, craft or speciality market on all other days from November 20 to December 23.
A Vegan Market will take place in The Corn Hall on November 7, and France at Home, an authentic French market will be in the Market Place from November 23-25.
The Advent Street Market, which is being billed as the town’s biggest ever festive market, is taking place on Saturday, November 27 and will feature more than 100 stalls.
Road closures will be in place for this event, taking place from 11am-6pm, and will take the same format as those implemented for the Mop Fairs.
The town’s Christmas tree and lights are due to be installed ahead of the event. The switching on of the lights is will be done as an online event, with further details due to be announced shortly.
