A WOMAN has expressed her anger after a car crashed through her parents house and ended up parked in the downstairs toilet.
The incident happened at the property in Cashes Green last night.
Fortunately neither the woman’s parents or the driver were injured during the incident.
In a Facebook post, the woman wrote: “At around 11.30pm the car lost control on the railway bridge on the way into Cashes Green and ended up parked in my mum and dad’s downstairs loo.
“They should be ashamed of themselves, they managed to get out and run off.
“Luckily both of my parents were upstairs and were unharmed but are not allowed back in as the house is structurally unsound.”
Police were called to the house shortly after 11.30pm.
As spokeswoman for Gloucestershire police said: “Extensive damage was caused to the property and no-one inside the house was physically harmed.
“Police, with the support of a police helicopter, attended and searched for the driver but no-one was located.
“This morning a man contacted police to say he was the driver.
“He later attended hospital for treatment for injuries which are not believed to be serious.”
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information about the collision is asked to call police on 101 and quote incident 592 of April 15.
