Arrest made after reports of antisocial behaviour in Wotton-Under-Edge

Officers received reports about an individual who was allegedly causing antisocial behaviour in the high street in Wotton-Under-Edge on April 26.

In response the individual was arrested and taken to the station for further assessment. 

Dursley PCSO Anthony Martin said: “Following calls from members of the public we attended reports of an individual causing antisocial behaviour in the high street.

“In response the individual was spoken to by police officers and for his own safety was arrested and taken for further assessment. 

“Thank you for your prompt calls and accurate information, please continue to do so when something isn’t right.”

Officers ask residents to report any further incidents of antisocial behaviour on the Gloucestershire Police website or call 999 in an emergency.

The information comes from a community alert – police are unable to accept reports of crime through Neighbourhood Alerts.
