An artist has put two new pieces on display in Stroud.

Lures for the Landlocked and The Reptile House, by Adam White, are available to see at Stroud Valleys Artspace, John Street.

Lures for the Landlocked consists of over a hundred painted and carved fishing lures, and is inspired by Adam’s encounter with a giant Barracuda when exploring a shipwreck.

Also, on display is a piece of Brex-art entitled The Reptile House.

The work uses shed snake-skins render the Palace of Westminster and the London skyline.

“I’ve loved reptiles since childhood, they always seem more trustworthy than people;when did a tortoise last steal your bicycle?”

“I was fortunate to meet a professional reptile breeder in Ross-on-Wye, who kindly gave me king cobra and python moults amongst others for my work”

The exhibition is open from 10am-5pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until July 7
