Brimscombe twins walk 100k for Captain Tom foundation

Twins from Brimscombe have raised £800 for charity by walking 100km in May – four times their fundraising goal.

Lauren and Karl Manley, 13, will split the money equally between Stroud Beresford Group (a women’s refuge), The Captain Tom Foundation and Kids Cancer Charity.

The pair started walking 21Km in Pembrokeshire on May 2 during Captain Tom’s 100 Challenge weekend and completed their target with a 20km Cotswold walk on Sunday, May 30.

The rest of their journey was made up of a 27km canal walk and four shorter walks in Stroud District.

Donations are still open and you can contribute here.
