Three cars have been damaged in a spate of vandalism on Watermoor Road in Cirencester.

Between July 14 and July 20, a vehicle parked near to Paternoster School had its wing mirror smashed off, along with footprints on the drivers door.

Between July 20 and July 21, a vehicle parked on the road had its back window smashed, before an untidy search was conducted, but nothing was stolen.

And on July 20 at around 12.40am, a motorist had stopped at the junction of Step Stairs Lane to let a friend out of when an unknown man approached the driver demanding money and threatening violence.

He kicked the vehicle leaving an imprint of his Adidas shoes on the bodywork.

The driver managed to drive off, with the man disappearing into King Street.

No injuries were sustained by the victim.

The man is described as white with a shaven head of blond hair, 5ft 10 inches, slim almost gaunt build, black eye, bruises and scratches to chest.

He was wearing only jeans and footwear.
