CCTV appeal after women knocked unconscious in Bristol attack

The female victims were both knocked out cold after confronting a group of unknown men who were verbally abusing them.

After initially being subjected to homophobic and racist comments inside a shop, police say the women left the store in Bedminster Road, Bristol, but were followed by the men who continued to abuse them.

When they turned to confront them as they continued towards Marksbury Road, both women were punched and knocked unconcious.

Avon and Somerset Police are now trying to trace the trio pictured and have released the CCTV as part of the ongoing probe.

The attack happened between 3am and 4am on Saturday, October 29.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers would like to speak to them in connection with their investigation into a homophobic and racial assault.

“The three people pictured are all white and are thought to be aged between 30-50 years old.

“We believe they have information which may help our investigation into the incident which happened on Saturday, October 29 last year.”
