A 49-year-old Cirencester woman who was two times the drink-drive limit has been banned from driving.
Jacqueline McCarthy, of Pethera Close, pleaded guilty to drink-driving when she appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court on March 11.
Magistrates heard how McCarthy drove on the Whiteway, Cirencester, when she was under the influence of alcohol on February 26.
McCarthy was found to have 71 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
She was banned from driving for 3 years and ordered to pay a fine and costs totalling £237.
