Cirencester driver sentenced for having no insurance and no licence

A Cirencester woman has been fined £660 after she was convicted of driving without insurance and without a licence.

Sara Simmonds, aged 34, of Golden Farm Road, had the case against her proved in her absence under the single justice procedure at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on October 6.

She was caught driving on the A419 in Cirencester on December 8 last year without a licence and insurance.

Simmonds was handed six penalty points on her licence and ordered to pay costs of £156.
