Cirencester Hospital should be named as one of Gloucestershire‘s world Covid-19 vaccination centres.

GP firm teams, with the support in local partners including volunteers, will start vaccination of emphasis groups (over 80s) during the sites in the coming instances, pending vaccine deliveries.

Sarah Scott, Gloucestershire’s Manager of Public Health added: “The roll out of the vaccine into wider community is a necessary step forwards but is not to mean we can let our sentrys down.

“We must continue to stick to the rules and not allow instance numbers to climb.

“Colleagues around health and social care happen to be, and continue to be, central to successfully beating Covid-19 and I very likely thank them all for their amazing efforts this year. ”

If citizens are housebound and unable to have a trip to a centre for intended for reasons, they will be contacted with a local healthcare worker.
