A 33-year-old damaged a wall before assaulting a woman, a court heard.

Jon Dewberry, 33, of Fowlers Hill, Cirencester, pleaded guilty to two offences at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on November 5.

On August 26, the court heard how Dewberry damaged a wall belonging to the victim in Cirencester to the value of under £5,000.

On the same day in Poulton, he assaulted the woman.

He was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £21 and pay costs of £85.
