Cirencester’s first ever Pride event taking place this weekend

CIRENCESTER’S first ever Pride event is taking place this weekend.

Pride in the Park is taking place in the Abbey Grounds on Sunday.

The event is part of Pride in Gloucestershire’s Mini Pride series, and coincides with the town’s health and wellbeing week.

Food and drink will be on offer, and it will all be vegan to tie in the with the vegan market going on at the same time.

The event will be hosted by Dr Bev, with Total Eclipse and Kyle Finn headlining.

Other artists on the bill including Loki Hughes, Millie & Elsie, Topaz, Eagalus, Vertigo, Blue Jay, Bambas and Sophie Kay.

There will also be a number of traders and stalls.

The Pride event is taking place from 12-5pm. The vegan market is on from 10am-4pm in the Market Place.

The health and wellbeing week is running from June 11-18 and has been organised by Cirencester Town Council to showcase the array of services and activities available from organisations in and around the town.
